Tree Planting - Mint Springs Valley Park

Come join us as we plant 25 trees along the fishing pond and the lake in this lovely park in Crozet. We have received funding from the VA Dept. of Forestry to plant these trees and will be assisted by the Park Personnel (they will dig the holes, and provide us with mulch). We hope to have help from the Forestry Club from the Univ. of VA. The park is at 6659 Mint Springs Park, Crozet, VA. Bring planting tools...spades, hand rakes, garden rakes....and wear gloves. Bring something to drink, we will provide snacks. Parking is ample at the Park.
