Here at Track it Forward we’re always looking to improve the user experience for our customers. In addition to regular monitoring and bug fixes, we’ve implemented some adjustments for events and notifications.

Formatting for Event Descriptions

Event descriptions can now be formatted to better highlight key information and improve readability. With these new options, you can make event details more visually engaging and easier for users to scan.

Features include:

  • Bold, italic, and underlined text
  • Text highlighting and color changes
  • Multiple font styles and sizes

These enhancements help important details stand out so users can quickly identify key information about each event.

Restrict Events by Checkbox Profile Fields

Events can now be restricted using a checkbox profile field. This allows administrators to limit event visibility to specific groups of volunteers based on selected checkbox options in their profiles.

This makes event restriction easier to navigate without needing to create multiple separate profile fields.

Search Function on Past Events

A search function has been added to the Past Events section allowing users to easily find past events based on event title and date. This feature saves time by enabling users to quickly locate previous events without having to manually sift through each week's past events.

Resend Verification Emails - Advanced Verifications

Administrators for sites on the Advanced plan can now re-send the verification email to outside organizers when volunteer hours are pending verification. This provides an easy way to follow up if the organizer has not yet responded, helping ensure timely verification without the need for manual outreach.
Go to Organizer Dashboard > Approvals > Click review on the hour log you'd like to resend > Under "Verifications: Organizer" you can see when the email has been sent in the past and click the link for "resend email" to send another copy.

 

Notify Approvers of Reported Issues After Approval - Advanced Verifications

Approvers for sites on the Advanced Plan will now receive notifications when an organizer reports an issue, even after the hours have been approved. This helps keep approvers informed about any reported issues without requiring them to manually check the volunteer log.
