If you have already created an account, we are going to ask you to please make a quick change to your profile. After logging in, click on Account which is located on top of the website. Next click on Edit Profile. In Last Name type your child’s last name Parent Child’s first name (Example: child's name is Bobby Jones: JonesParent Bobby). In First Name, place your (the parent’s) first name. When logging your hours, there are now drop down menus too. Choose your child’s grade level and Parent in these menus. Thank you for taking the time to make the changes (we figured out the glitch)!!!

If you are creating an account for the first time, click on signup for account. It is necessary to provide your email. Please refer above on how to fill out Last Name, First Name, and drop down menus. Phone number is not necessary. Thank you!!

Students will be creating their own accounts in their Social Studies classes. Below are the directions for creating a student account just in case.

1. Go to the SRMS website and click on Log Volunteer Hours on the right side of the webpage.
2. Click signup for account
3. Email is necessary--use your school district email account which is usually firstname.lastname@sdirc.org example: bobby.smith@sdirc.org
4. Password--any password you like there aren't any special requirements. We strongly suggest your password be your school ID number and Uppercase first initial, lowercase last name initial. Just like your normal school login password!
5. In First name--Type your first name & your grade level (6th, 7th, or 8th)
6. In Last Name: Type your last name
7. Phone number is not necessary.

This website will help us store and keep track of your volunteer hours for the IB-MYP program. 6th Grade students must complete 10 hours, 7th Grade = 15 hours, 8th grade = 20 hours. Parents are required to volunteer 10 hours in TOTAL. Even if you have two or more children in the program, parents are responsible for 10 hours only. We are using the honor system (principled is one of the MYP Learner Profile traits). Please round hours to the nearest half hour or full hour. For example, if you volunteer for 1 hour and 5 minutes, log it as one hour. If you volunteer for 1 hour and 16 minutes, log as 1.5 hours.
