** NEW Requirements for Volunteering Onsite **

The Oakland Diocese JUST changed up their requirements for volunteering onsite, which means action is required for pretty much everyone.

Prior to volunteering for opportunities such as field trip chaperone, library helper or other onsite options, potential volunteers first need to complete school requirements:

Complete Virtus trainings (https://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/) - a one-time “Protecting God’s Children” and a required annually “Safe Environment with Mandated Reporter Training, State of California”. When signing up as a first-time registrant, search for the Oakland Diocese then School of the Madeleine. After completing, email [email protected] and she will email you a LiveScan form for the next step.

Process a Volunteer Live Scan for the Oakland Diocese. There are several options for where/how to do this which Danielle will provide with the form.

TB Clearance. ALL VOLUNTEERS must now submit proof of a negative TB test or provide a TB Risk Assessment Screening (to be completed every 4 years). Our Health Chair Shamideh Engel may be able to assist with the completion of a TB Risk Assessment. Please use this link to begin the process: https://forms.gle/Sd2mRSvBBUTpJcic7 .
