To support of Mountain School students and staff and promote community, we ask each family unit to be involved with Mountain School activities for 30 hours per school year (per family, not per child). Single parent or guardian families are asked to participate for 15 hours each school year. You can ask staff members, your student's teacher, or your student's PTO representative for involvement hour opportunities.
Involvement hours can also be earned by monetary donations for supplies for the school. For example, if you spend $24 buying supplies for chili for the annual chili cook off, you will have earned 4 hours toward your involvement hours (every $5.50 = 1 hour).
