RTW A Walk in the Carillon Woods Byrd Park (10am-noon)

Join the 500-Year Forest Foundation for a walk from the Carillon Monument down the back slope through a mature forest to the Pump House and back up to the Carillon. These informative walks teach you about tree identification and the value of mature and old growth forests. The terrain is a bit steep so please wear shoes with good ankle protection, and bring your hat and water. But please leave your dogs home - these are not dog friendly walks, thank you. We meet on the front side of the Carillon facing Blanton Ave facing north. (NOT on the Dogwood Dell Amphitheater side). We will have a sign and a table for you to find us.
