Expected school departure time is 1:00 PM
Chaperones will ride the school buses with the band to Gainesville, assist with uniforms, instruments and other student needs throughout the parade. Estimated return to school is scheduled around 6 pm. All chaperones must ride the bus to and from the parade.
****Important. Please read before processing the cancellation of your shift****
We rely on our volunteers and the time they commit to serve when signing up for a shift. If you need to cancel any shift you have reserved, please do so at least 7 days before you are scheduled to work so that other volunteers have the opportunity to fill in spots the week of.
*If you are cancelling your shift within 7 days of when you are signed up to work, you are required to find someone to cover your shift. This may be another member of your family, a friend, or another band parent. If the person taking your spot is not registered on Track it Forward, please maintain your shift under your name and send an email to [email protected] with the name of your substitute so that they may be placed on the list.
*To find another band parent to take your spot, you may reach out on Facebook or through your section parents.
