Beating Cancer Beautifully Box Packing and Distribution
Sunday, October 10 2021
BEATING CANCER BEAUTIFULLY Is a program designed to help survivors affected by the side-effects of cancer treatment, feel like themselves again. Oftentimes, treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation cause skin discoloration and hair loss, leaving some women and men to feel a sense of loss and disconnect with themselves.
The events will focus on providing specialized attention to Breast Cancer survivors by teaching them critical make-up skills that will help them mask the impact of Chemotherapy and Radiation. The event will consist of an application process for survivors to apply and get approved to attend the make-up event. Attendees will be presented with make-up kits that have the key fundamentals needed for the class as well as make-up and tools needed after the class to maintain. The virtual class will be facilitated by professional MUA Christelsie Johnson, CEO of My T.R.U.E. Beauty.
The 2021 event seeks to bless 60 participants.
Partners: My TRUE Beauty (Christelsie Johnson), Dillards, Clean Beauty
