Tau Epsilon Omega Chapter - Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

On behalf of the City of East Point, we are pleased to invite members of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Tau Epsilon Omega (TEO) Chapter to once again serve as volunteers for the City of East Point’s 2026 Inauguration Ceremony, honoring the newly elected Mayor and City Council. The ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Viola Turner Theater at Tri-Cities High School, located at 2575 Harris Street, East Point.

Ideally, we would like to have six to eight volunteers from your organization; however, any number you are able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Should your organization accept our invitation, the Alpha Kappa Alpha TEO Chapter will be acknowledged in the printed program and from the stage. Additionally, your chapter is invited to attend the volunteer training during the dry run with the East Point Mayor and Council on the day prior, which is optional. Alternatively, volunteers may arrive early on the day of the event to receive their assignments.

We hope you will consider partnering with the City of East Point once again for this special occasion. Please let me know at your earliest convenience so that we may plan accordingly.
