Breast Cancer Can Stick It!

Each volunteer for this event will receive a complimentary ticket into the game

We have an amazing opportunity! We will once again be the beneficiary of a 50/50 raffle for The Dallas Stars on Oct 19th! This will be one of the easiest fundraisers ever! (Little to no set up, no unloading a trailer, etc.) All you have to do is walk around and talk to people about Breast Cancer Can Stick It! to help encourage raffle ticket sales.

*Must be able to stand and walk around for 3 hours will little breaks

Here are the details we have so far:
Game: October 19, 7:00pm
Arrive: 4:30pm for briefing and to review your posts/pair BCCSI advocate with Dallas Stars Foundation seller
Goal (set by Dallas Stars Foundation): $15,000 for entire pot; ($7,500/$7,500)
-Communicate via phone/text - NO WALKIE TALKIES
-We will have a table for info and samples of merch. Direct to Web site to buy. Advocates and sellers can tell folks they can get more info at booth. WE CANNOT BRING IN MERCH TO SELL.
-Raffle ticket must be drawn by 14:00 min left in 3rd period.
-Raffle sales stop by puck drop of 3rd period.
-10 BCCSI people aka "cheerleaders"/advocates wearing their BCCSI shirts to stand with sellers to answer questions about where the money goes. When 3rd period starts, cheerleaders will have a ticket for a seat if they want to go watch the last period.

----- Diagnosed in 2010 with triple negative breast cancer – a more rare, aggressive and likely to recur form.
----- Came up with slogan “Breast Cancer Can Stick It!” within two weeks of diagnosis.

----- 4 months chemo (completed in April 2011)
----- Fundraised for years and became official 501c3 nonprofit by May 2013
