Howdy! April here! Late last week, a friend came to me looking for a basket of BCCSI gear to donate for the Plano Drumline Competition. I bought the merch myself, and donated and got to thinking, Plano Drumline Competition? These are the exact kids we need to recruit for Drummathon! I talked to them about having a booth at the event, and BOOM! Here we are. The goal will be to get kids to sign up onsite using their cell phone or if anyone can bring an iPad. We will set up our full merch booth and draw folks in! Remind folks that Breast Cancer Awareness Month is coming up October!

*WE WILL HAVE TO WORK IN SHIFTS. This will be a LONG day and no one should be there morning to night. If we get enough people signed up, we will do 3 shifts. If not, we may have only 2 shifts.

Lone Star Percussion is the main sponsor of the entire event. Lone Star sponsored Drummathon last year and is sponsoring us again this year, so if you see them, thank them for their support and for sponsoring each year!

Plan on the following if you plan to help:
1. Wear your BCCSI shirt.
2. Wear comfortable, cool clothing.
3. Bring phone chargers (I'm checking to make sure they will provide us power; if not, if you have mobile battery chargers, you may want to bring them.)

Dad will bring an ice chest with water; we opted not to bring the BCCSI laptop just for concern of keeping up with it. Let's have folks sign up on their mobile devices.
