Seeking 2 Christmas Coordinators to assist with the Christmas service project.

This Christmas, the 4th Grade will be bringing the joy of the season to two families from the HoldYou Foundation (www.holdyou.org), run by Natalie Hill, the wife of our very own Mr. Campanella!

The HoldYou Foundation provides financial assistance to families in need who have a child facing a critical illness or injury; to hold the parents’ financial burdens so they can devote time to the care of their child. For all families, a life-threatening medical diagnosis for their child is devastating news, but for many families, it will also mean a catastrophic financial loss that creates additional overwhelming stress. In order to care for their child’s healthcare needs, parents often experience work disruption, unpaid leaves & job loss, resulting in their inability to provide for their family’s most basic needs during treatment. 76% of the families HoldYou has served fell below the federal poverty line during their child’s treatment.

HoldYou was created to help families in crisis and to respond to the huge void in support services available to families who struggle to provide for their basic needs during their child’s medical treatment. We provide immediate financial support to lift the burdens of families, so they can focus on what matters most—holding and healing their children.

This is a very important way for the students to learn about the importance of giving to others, and this Christmas, 4th grade will be supporting 2 families!

You will help coordinate with Natalie, the teachers, room parents, 4th grade students and their parents to facilitate the collection and delivery of gifts and relief to families with sick children to make their Christmas the best one ever!
