Welcome Home Jersey City

We will be hosting a Family Emergency Preparedness Train-the-Trainer for volunteers interested in supporting our immigrant refugee families in our community. This training will provide tools and guidance on how to help families prepare for potential immigration-related emergencies, including creating family preparedness plans and identifying important resources. Volunteers who participate will be equipped to share this information and support families in staying informed and prepared. As a next step, we hope to pair trained volunteers with families who would like support creating their own emergency preparedness plans. This is an opportunity to help ensure families have the information and tools they need to stay prepared and connected to resources.
