Debate Tournament Donations - Please consider donating gift cards to the 2025 Chuck Ballingall Memorial Debate invitational to help purchase the items we need. As a result of past year's care and generosity of our Damien Spartan Community, we have been recognized by the National Debate Coaches Association as Tournament Host of the year. Please help us continue to hold this standard. Please bring in to the front office in the 600 building. Put the gift card in an envelope with the receipt. On the receipt write your name, your son's name and the event it is for. Gift cards are due by Tuesday September 10th. If you have any questions please contact Chris Paredes at

Dear Damien Families,

We kindly ask that if you need to cancel a volunteer shift you've signed up for, please do so at least 24 hours before the event begins.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, as well as no-shows, will result in a $35 per hour charge for each hour listed on the sign-up. Unfortunately, in these cases, the option to fulfill your service hours by volunteering will no longer be available, and the fee will be added to your financial account.
