Los Gatos Rowing Club

Purchase supplies (from provided shopping list) at Costco during the week before the event. Note the list will be different/longer this year. Please be prepared to front the cost of the shop and be reimbursed. Deliver food to regatta or coordinate to have it go up with the trailer.

Volunteer must have a vehicle with a hitch to pull the hospitality trailer.

Load the trailer at the boathouse. In the shed there is a laminated instruction sheet of what to pack. Items include storage bins, tables, easy-ups, etc. Time is flexible.

Bring coffee and hot water for parents and athletes (you will be reimbursed). Don't forget sugar/creamer!

Help to ensure all shifts are filled. Serve as point of contact for event for volunteers . One volunteer MUST have experience working regattas and have a good handle on what needs to be done to run a smooth regatta. The second may be a new parent to shadow the experienced parent.

Prep breakfast/snacks and oversee fueling our athletes for the morning. Clean up breakfast afterwards.

Some of the LGRC parents have rented a hotel room at the Hotel Sofitel so the kids can get warm in between races and watch the races from the patio. We will need 2 parent volunteers to stay in the room with the athletes at all times.

Prep and serve lunch and snacks for athletes. Clean up afterwards.

Ensure snacks are replenished and fruit is available for afternoon rowers

Thoroughly clean up everything. Leave tent and tables, but store other items in bins in trailer overnight.
