GSU COL Pro Bono Program

Project Description:
Assist clients with completing estate-planning questionnaires by making phone calls, speaking with clients about estate-planning needs, and gathering information. Students may also assist in drafting simple estate plans and working with clients to execute advance directives or financial power of attorney documents. This project will take place over the span of a week, and you can work on it remotely at your own pace throughout the week. You will receive an email with further project details the week of your project.

How to Sign Up:
1. Have you completed Atlanta Legal Aid's Mandatory Training before? If you HAVE NOT, then please email probono@gsu.edu. The date for the training this semester has already passed, but you can watch the recording to participate. *** If you have not already done the training, you must complete/watch the training before you can participate in the project.

2. If you have completed Atlanta Legal Aid's Mandatory Training this semester or in a previous semester, you do not need to redo the training for this project, and you can sign up for this project! Please RSVP for a shift below, and we will connect you with Cari King, the project supervising attorney, at the beginning of the week of your project.
