AVLF: Saturday Lawyers Program with GSU Law Students

Saturday, February 03 2024

Project Description:
During AVLF Saturday Lawyer Clinics, law students assist volunteer attorneys with one or two potential client interviews. Issues are generally related to landlord-tenant or unpaid wage problems. The goal is to gather the facts to assess whether the case has merit. If AVLF decides that it’s a good case, the attorney will be asked if they are willing to assist further.

This Saturday clinic (February 3rd) is specifically reserved for GSU COL students thanks to SHLA! All GSU COL students are welcome to sign up. Plan on being there the whole time. Afterwards, GSU students will get lunch as a group for those available!

This event is in-person at the AVLF Atlanta office located at 235 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 1750. Everything you need to know (including directions, parking, and attire) and how to prepare is posted online at SaturdayLawyer.org.
