Each class is responsible to sign-up for 2 Full Time Faculty (FTF) (55 people) Lunches, or 1 All Staff (AS) (120 people) Lunch. You will also be responsible to fulfill the hearth snack needs the week(s) of your lunch.

WHAT IS FACULTY LUNCH?

Each Friday of the year, the Parent Coordinators facilitate a lunch with their respective classes as an offering of appreciation and gratitude for our hard-working faculty while they attend their friday meetings. (Lunch is still provided even if faculty is not holding meetings)

Your class is 100% responsible to plan, coordinate (including creating a Track-it-Forward), set up, prepare and provide all aspects of the meal, as well as clean up after everyone has been served. Meals must include gluten free, vegan and dairy free options to accommodate our faculty's diverse dietary needs. As always, all food at the school needs to be peanut free. Tables, table cloths, dietary labels, dinnerware and flatware are provided for use and can be found in the faculty lunch cabinet in the teachers lounge.

Faculty Lunch needs to be ready to serve at 12:30 in the gym. Volunteers can begin set up at 11:30am, followed by clean up beginning at about 1:30pm. (If games class is happening in the gym when you arrive, begin set-up in the atrium and move into the gym at Noon when the students are done)

HEARTH SNACK FULFILLMENT

Each class is also responsible to fulfill the hearth snacks 1 or 2 week each year, which will take place the same week you facilitate faculty lunch.
The Hearths are shared gathering spaces among classroom groups that serve as a warm and separate area that students can go for a break, snack, or additional support. As a parent community, we have enjoyed helping nourish each others kids in this space.

Each week, the hearth snacks should include:

- 4 Large (costco size) bags of String Cheese
- 4 Dozen Eggs
- 4 Bags Apples
- 4 Bags Cuties
- 4 Bags vegetables (carrots or cucumbers)
- 4 Boxes Camomile tea, peppermint tea
- Honey
- 2 bags Coffee (ground and Whole Bean - for the teachers lounge)

Hearth Snacks should be dropped off at the front office on the Friday of your faculty lunch, and will be distributed by the hearth keepers for use the following week.
