City of Chico, Parks Division, PALS Volunteers

Trailworks will be continuing the work on the south side of the park, removing tall grass and vegetation along Annie B trail. We will meet at Green Gate/Ten Mile House road parking lot, and carpool to the worksite (off hwy 32, 6.8 miles from Bruce road). We may need to ask a volunteer with a high clearance vehicle to help with transport.
The workday will likely require several miles of hiking, and possibly operating a string trimmer/hedger, for those willing. We are trying to avoid the heat by starting early. Some of this work can be strenuous, but you are not be expected to do any work you are not comfortable with.
Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring water and any essential items you need. Tools and basic PPE will be provided. Your RSVP to this event acknowledges that you have read, understand and agree to the terms as described in the attached City of Chico release of liability.
