Help make the Erosion Line, a one-of-a-kind artwork to raise awareness of trail erosion in Bidwell Park. Meeting place: Kiosk at Upper Park Designated Parking Lot E. Drive past the observatory and Rod and Gun Club, turn left into the parking lot. Join Bidwell Park Artist in Residence Eve Werner to learn about Park geology and how erosion affects trails then use simple hand tools to make the Erosion Line. With your help, we'll be able to track erosion in real time! No artistic experience required. Best for families with kids aged 6-12. This is a 1/2 mile hike over gently sloped terrain.
The placement of all holes will be determined by Eve Werner. Holes are not to be made in any other location. Tools and knee pads will be provided. Closed toe shoes. Bring water, and backpack to help carry tools, and any personal items you need.
