St. John's School Eagle 5K and Kid's Fun Run
Proceeds benefit St. John's School scholarship fund and 20% donated to MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital.
Please join us for the 11th Annual St. John's School EAGLE 5K!  This event began in memory of our former, longtime principal, Mrs. Pat Suit.  The funds raised will directly benefit St. John’s School scholarship fund, plus 20% to Medstar St. Mary's Breast Cancer Imaging Program, in loving memory of our beloved Mrs. Suit. 

7:30 a.m.: Same-day registration and check-in
8:30 a.m.: Opening Ceremony & Warm Up
~9:00 a.m.: 1-Mile Youth Fun Run Begins
~9:30 a.m.: 5K Walk/Run Begins

6:00am - 7:00am
Gift Card Donation
1 hr = $20 Gift cards to be used for door prizes.

Event Set Up
Set up tables, chairs, trash cans, tents, etc.

Responsible for check out of cash box and credit card machine, troubleshooting of registration and/or packet pick up "snafu's".

Race Day Registration
Collect money from race day registrants, make change if needed. Make sure that registration form is filled out completely and correctly. Provide packet.

Race Day Packet Distributor
Those working pre-registration will hand out the previously prepared packet that belongs to that participant. Those working race day registration will hand out the packets based on T-shirt size. Mark name on sheet to show that packet has been picked up.

Water Station Captain
Responsible for collection/return of water station supplies and distribution to water station teams. Two water stations assigned to 5K course and 1 station assigned to Kids Fun Run course.

Kids Fun Run Course Aide
Direct runners and walkers keeping them on course using voice and hand signals. At completion of race, ensure all runners/walkers have returned safely.
