Volunteer Opportunities for the Women’s Wine & Chocolate Walk
Here is a list of volunteer positions we have available on May 17. Ideally, we want people to serve an entire shift, but we know life is busy. If you cannot help for duration of the shift, please mark the hours you're available in the comments section. *Please note, wine and chocolate servers must be available for the entire time, but other roles have more flexibility.
Feel free to sign up for multiple shifts, even if there is a little overlap.
We'll send you exact locations and all the details closer to the event. However, if you have any questions before then, please reach out to Heather 513-368-8443 or heather@downtownmiddletown.org
Help mark vendor spots. Check-in and direct vendors when they arrive. This involves moving road closure signs to allow access for vendors. After they are set up, check in with all vendors to make sure they have everything they need (ie concierge tags)
Assist in setting up tables, chairs, and tents for all booths. Help deliver wine and chocolate to businesses.
Assist in finishing details in the check-in area and VIP space, place balloons and signs around town, set up DMI/raffle table
Direct SuperStar VIPs into their brunch, drive them around town in the golf cart, help them with whatever they need.
Checking tickets and IDs, handing out swag bags and wine glasses, assisting participants to the shuttles, and other various tasks needed to welcome and register participants.
Sell raffle and at-the-door tickets. Pull raffle names at end of the day.
Assist at one of these stations: bourbon and beer axe throwing and ticket sales, canal days rain gutter regatta, or a water station.
Help out where we need you the most! If you cannot attend the entire time, that's ok, tell us your times, and you'll help out with various tasks as needed.
Use golf cart to pick up packages from vendors and deliver to Windamere. One person will stay at the Windamere to distribute items when ladies arrive to collect them. You must be 18 and have driver’s license.
Check-in participants who arrive late; help with raffle tickets and shopping concierge
Dismantle all items and return them to DMI offices and Windamere, collect litter, and help with other tasks as needed
