Senior Tea Time: Front-of-House
Thursday, April 16 2026
Senior Tea Time is one of Wright-Locke Farm’s most beloved community events. Every other month, in partnership with the Mt. Vernon House, we host a free high tea for local seniors—complete with refreshments, conversation, and occasional live entertainment. It’s a joyful and meaningful way to honor and connect with our elder neighbors.
Roles include serving tea, setting up the space, and cleaning up afterward. Please note: if any food is left and available, it only offered to volunteers near the end of the event once Chef Kelcy gives the go ahead.
Event Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs to assist with carrying carafes of tea, and platters of food going in and out of event area. Clean up requires individuals to be able to balance a tray of plates to bring into the kitchen for cleaning.
