Irvington Tree Walk - Tree Size Matters

Thank you for volunteering with Portland Parks & Recreation Urban Forestry!

WHAT: The theme of the walk is "Tree Size Matters." Using examples in the neighborhood, Jim Gersbach of the Oregon Department of Forestry and the Concordia Tree Team will explore why tree size matters in meeting Portland's climate change canopy goals.

WHERE: Meet at Caffe Destino (1339 NE Fremont St, Portland, OR 97212)

WHEN: Saturday, Feb. 1, from 10 a.m. to noon

WHAT TO EXPECT: Fun and informational guided tree walk with a local tree expert hosted by the Irvington Tree Team. Please wear closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather. This event will be held rain or shine. Questions? Contact treeteam@irvingtonpdx.com.
