“Audubon Institute Freeport McMoRan Audubon Species Conservation Center” Visit the 1200 acre restricted access facility, opened in 1993, which works on enhancing the populations of species under stress including species such as sandhill cranes, whooping cranes, several species of endangered storks, clouded leopards, Mexican grey wolves, red wolves, bongo antelope and eland. Join Michelle Hatwood and Richard Dunn, curators of the animals, on a journey through their custom-made habitats.
