Marc Pastorek has gardened in New Orleans' unique soils and environmental conditions for over 40 years. He will discuss some of his favorite easy-to-grow native plants and describe how he likes to use them in the landscape.
Marc Pastorek is an environmentalist with a deep interest in natural systems and their restoration and management. He is co-founder of Pastorek Habitats, a landscape design and consulting firm that specializes in restoring native grassland habitat. Marc is a contributor to the new book Southeastern Grasslands: Biodiversity, Ecology and Management, University of Alabama press. He and his wife Candi operate their business as partners and live and garden in Covington, Louisiana.
