Porter Synchro Classic raises a substantial amount of money for the Hockettes Synchronized Skating Program! This money pays down a significant amount to each synchro families costs for the season. We rely on hundreds of volunteer hours to run our prestigious event, thank you for volunteering as much time as you can!
Remember that each Synchro Family is required to volunteer a minimum of 6 hours, but we will take any above and beyond that you are willing to give! For a minimum of 6 hours, each family gets two free admissions wristbands to use on the day of your choice. If you put in more hours they will goes towards your Club volunteering hourly commitment for the current season.

Prefer volunteers with Registration Desk Experience but will train as needed. Please register for 2 consecutive shifts if possible since training is required. Register Teams & Coaches using online system, Sort & Award Medals, Answer General Questions, Refer for 1st Aid, etc.
Escort teams from locker rooms to rinks to photos during the competition. Team escort volunteers will need to be SafeSport trained or compliant and fully vaccinated against Covid-19 because of working directly with skaters.

Result runners carry judges papers from rink side to Accounting room where scores are processed after which copies are made for Runners to distribute around the arena, including posting results for skaters.
