Invasive Removal at Bon Air Park, Arlinton

An area of Bon Air Park needs small invasive honeysuckle and Rose-of-Sharon dug out so that native trees and shrubs can be planted. Ultimately, this area will become a small nature walk attached to the Sunny Demo Garden and maintained by the Master Gardeners. Trees to be planted include Pawpaws, Persimmon, Dogwood, Red Cedar, American Holly, and others. Bon Air Park is at the intersection of Wilson Blvd. and Lexington St., behind the Rose Garden and the tennis courts.
