Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria

Please come lend a hand for two hours helping to remove a couple patches of invasive Porcelain-berry from the meadow in Alexandria's Ben Brenman Park.

The berries on the Porcelain-berry vines are just starting to form right now but are not mature; by pulling the vines now we can prevent a lot of seed from being sown and having our trees and Sumac shrubs enveloped by this harmful invasive vine this year and into future years.
