Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria

Please join us on Tuesday May 12th from 4:15 to 6:15 pm for an overview of the Arlington County Native Plant Nursery and tree walk around Barcroft park with Sue Kim.  Sue is a Natural Resources Technician with the Arlington County DPR, and manages the Native Plant Nursery.  Last year she provided a similar presentation and walk, and it was utterly fascinating.  

We will meet at the Native Plant Nursery, which is located behind the baseball stadium at Barcroft Park.  Note that this event has been timed to coincide with the end of the volunteer work day at the Nursery, which is held every Tuesday from 2:00- 4:00 pm.  Please consider coming for the volunteer workday, where you will help tend to the Nursery by replanting seedlings, weeding, etc. and then participating in Sue's presentation.
