Conserving Arlington’s tree canopy is a major goal of our community. Development brings with it many challenges, from the size of buildings to connecting utilities and managing stormwater. This presentation will go over some of the complications of conserving mature trees on development sites, and what techniques we have used within our legal framework to achieve this.
