Firewood Help
The grades playscape and Early Childhood area have a fire pits that we use regularly in the cold weather. We have a large supply of downed tree trunks, tree sections, logs, etc that need to be spilt and stacked in our wood shed next to the first grade or at the yurts.
Do you have a log splitter? Do you have time to come to school to split logs? It is mostly pine. You would need to bring all of your own equipment and sign a release waiver for UWSP/CWES for the 2022/23 school year.
Alternatively: Do you have firewood to donate? You can bring to school and put in the storage area next to Sunrise classroom (1st and 2nd grades).
