Lantern Walk
Sunday, November 07 2021
This is a historic European festival celebrating autumn at the end of the agricultural year and the beginning of the harvest. Festive music plays as we carry our lanterns through the meadows of Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve. Volunteers are needed for the following positions to ensure the event runs smoothly. This is a unique experience, one you will remember.
Masks are required inside the barns and buildings; optional outdoors.
Put up tents, set up registration tables, carry supplies, add festive decor, put luminaries along the trail.
Greet guests as they arrive and check them in. When check in is over help keep the food table organized, and other small tasks. Dismantle the tent and pack everything up.
Welcome guests and direct them to the parking area. Provide basic info and direction to the starting point.
Help participants choose their lantern and direct them to the campfire area. Keep supplies neat. Pack up supplies at the end.
Pour cider and set out snacks for guests
