Teller - Wired for Connection: Navigating Stress, the Brain, and Childhood Resilience

Tuesday, February 23 2027

Ever wonder what’s actually happening when your child "flips their lid"—or why your own stress levels skyrocket in response? You aren’t alone.

Welcome to a workshop designed to demystify the science behind everyday parenting challenges. In this session, we will look under the hood at the developing brain and nervous system to understand how children experience, process, and express stress.

We will explore the impact of ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), but more importantly, we will focus on the incredible, healing power of PCEs (Positive Childhood Experiences) and how you can naturally build them into your family's life.

What you will take away:

● A clear understanding of the "fight, flight, or freeze" responses in children (and adults!).

● The science of how positive experiences buffer stress and build lifelong resilience.

● Practical, real-time regulation strategies to move your household from reactivity to

connection.

Leave the guilt at the door and walk away with the modern, science-backed tools you need to co-regulate with your child through life’s big emotions.
