Hillsboro High School Band

****The schedule below is current, updated 3/1/9.

8:30am- Meet for band class as usual

9:00am-Load buses

9:30am-Depart for C.C.C.

10:45am-Arrive at C.C.C. /offload buses and check-in.

11:30-12:30pm-Lunch/There are a lot of food venues available just across from C.C.C. Students may bring money, a lunch, or both.

1:00pm-Warm-up

1:30pm-On-Stage Performance

2:00pm-Sight-read

2:30pm-Listen and support a couple of bands from our division. (I will hand out OSAA adjudicator forms to students to evaluate what the bands they are listening to. This will be an assignment they will hand in to me at the end) This is a great way tool for students to be reflective of their own performance and the musical components they are evaluated on.

4:00pm-Load up and head back to school.

5:30pm-Back at Hilhi

*Students need to be dressed in formal concert attire when they arrive to school. (Tuxes and formal dresses)
