Art in the Park...ing Lot is a free community Halloween celebration hosted by Make Your Mark, a Wenatchee nonprofit dedicated to creating access to art for people of all backgrounds, abilities, and income levels. Come enjoy live raku firing, local art vendor booths, live music, a beer garden, and a prize drawing in the heart of downtown Wenatchee. BBQ and drinks available for purchase, featuring pulled pork and more. Optional costume strongly encouraged.
We need volunteers to help make this night happen! From setup and gate duty to assisting with raku, running the BBQ, staffing our art booth, and end of night cleanup, there's a spot for everyone. If you have a specific skill to offer mention it when you sign up. Or if you're one of those wonderful humans who just shows up and says "where do you need me most?" you would be very appreciated.
Help set up vendor spaces, signage, fencing, decor, and general event layout before doors open.
General event support during the main event hours. Gate duty, BBQ assistance, MYM art booth, raffle ticket sales, raku zone support, and keeping the energy positive throughout the night.
Help us run the BBQ-prepping, serving, and keeping things moving.
Assist with bisque sales, glaze selection, and crowd management around the raku firing area. Experience with ceramics or fire preferred but not required.
General event support during the main event hours. Gate duty, BBQ assistance, MYM art booth, raffle ticket sales, raku zone support, and keeping the energy positive throughout the night.
End of night breakdown and cleanup. Help tear down vendor spaces, clear the lot, and help wrap up the evening.
