To earn recognition from the department and national American Legion we track and submit our volunteer, community service hours and donations each year at the convention.
By signing up for Track It Forward you can easily track your hours and donations via their app or website directly. The numbers will automatically compile a report for our Community Service Chair to then submit each May.
When in doubt, count it!
If you help your community, state and nation by serving on a board, planning an event, donating blood, helping at church or any of your favorite non-profits COUNT IT towards your community service time.
When tracking donations, the only type that we wouldn't count are your tithes.
However, anything you donate to your church beyond tithes is an offering that may be counted! You can always check with us if you have questions or write a description in the notes section for us to review.
