SAU Walk and Roll Captain

Once a month, the Sausalito campus invites everyone to give our planet a big hug by "walking and rolling to school" by walking, biking, scootering, skateboarding, or carpooling. This effort is in partnership with the organization Marin Safe Routes to School (https://www.saferoutestoschools.org/), who in addition to setting the schedule also provides prizes for students who complete the challenge.
As Captain, you will be the glue between that organization and Sausalito campus staff. Time committment is roughly 1 hour each month.
Responsibilities:
- Connect with our friends at Marin Safe Routes to School to learn the schedule, messaging, etc.
- Make sure our campus knows about each Walk and Roll by getting it in the newsletter, sharing in WhatsApp, etc.
- On Walk and Roll Days— set up a table around 8am and greet kids and hand out prizes for their participation

Une fois par mois, le campus de Sausalito invite toute la communauté à faire un geste pour notre planète en participant à « Walk & Roll to School » : venir à l’école à pied, à vélo, en trottinette, en skateboard ou en covoiturage !
Cette initiative est organisée en partenariat avec Marin Safe Routes to School, qui établit le calendrier et fournit également des petits prix aux élèves qui participent au défi.
En tant que Capitaine, vous serez le lien entre l’organisation Marin Safe Routes to School et l’équipe du campus de Sausalito. Le temps à prévoir est d’environ 1 heure par mois.
Responsabilités :
Prendre contact avec nos partenaires de Marin Safe Routes to School pour connaître le calendrier, les messages à communiquer, etc.
S’assurer que toute la communauté du campus est informée de chaque journée Walk & Roll : annonce dans la newsletter, partage sur WhatsApp, etc.
Les jours Walk & Roll, installer une table vers 8h, accueillir les enfants et distribuer les petits prix récompensant leur participation.
