Pamlico Teen Court: Training for Peer Jury Panels & Peer Accountability Circles

Friday, October 25 2024

Peer Jury Panels and Peer Accountability Circles, both Restorative Justice practices, provide accountability for those youth causing harm by their actions. Additionally, they are obligated to repair the harm they caused through sanctions assigned by the peer jury or or other actions identified within the circle process. One the youth completes the sanctions, any charges they were facing go away; they have a clean slate. This is their opportunity to begin again. Join us for training in both these processes and become a part of the solution while giving back to your community!

Meet us at the Pamlico County Courthouse in Bayboro; enter the double glass doors (public entrance) facing NW Third St., off of Main Street. We will let you in and show you to the Commissioners' Room on the 2nd. Floor, where we will meet. Thank you!
