Invitation - Walk for Women & Lunch at Big Wheel Burger

Please join us for the 2025 SIVW Walk for Women which takes place on International Women’s Day! Following the 2.35 km walk, we’ll enjoy lunch at Big Wheel Burger where a portion of sales raised from the March feature burger, will be donated to our Dream It Be It program.
Why Participate?
Participating in the Walk for Women helps raise awareness for the transformative work that Soroptimist is doing here in the Greater Victoria Area and around the world.
Event Details:
• Date & Time: March 8, 11am walk start, 12:30pm lunch at Big Wheel Burger
• Walk location: Meet up @ corner of Langford Pkwy & Phipps (below Walmart)
• Lunch location: Big Wheel Burger, Westshore Mall
• Please RSVP to this invite (see below for RSVP specifics)
Additional details:
o Walk directions & map attached
o Wear a tiara! Don't have one? Purchase a tiara from Loreli ($10-$15 dollars depending on the tiara). Money raised goes to LYD Awards.
o Feeling creative? Make a sign to show why you walk for women!
o Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for weather conditions.
