Rosewood Food Forest Volunteer Days
Sunday, May 24 2026
Come help us maintain the community food forest here at Rosewood! We will be planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, and building out infrastructure every Sunday from 10am-1pm. This work directly supports Rosewood's food pantry and other educational programming, including p:ear's Garden Works and Flower Works programs. These volunteer opportunities will happen rain or shine, please dress appropriately for outdoor work!
If you have any questions or want more information, please email our Community Garden Manager, Corey Pierson at corey@rosewoodinitiative.org.
*This volunteer opportunity is open to all regardless of age or ability, but a majority of the work will entail strenuous labor such as standing/walking for long periods of time, bending down, and carrying moderately heavy loads. If these activities pose an issue for you or your children, we still have ways for you to participate! Email the Community Garden Manager, Corey Pierson, and they will make sure you have accessible tasks during the event.
**Dogs are allowed in the space as long as they are well-trained and stay on leash. Please make sure any waste is picked up and carried out before you leave, and keep them out of any of the food beds.
