Food Pantry Packing Event
Tuesday, December 16 2025
Join us for a Pantry Packing Day as we prepare essential pantry staples for our neighbors! We’ll be purchasing and packing items such as beans, lentils, rice, flour, pasta, and fresh produce including cabbage, tomatoes, celery, potatoes, and green beans. Each household visiting the pantry this week will receive 2–3 pounds of each item to support nutritious meals.
This hands-on day brings our community together to make sure every family has what they need.
Volunteers will help sort, measure, and portion a variety of dry goods and fresh produce into quart-size bags so that each pantry guest can take home 2–3 pounds of each item. Tasks include weighing food, organizing items by type, labeling, and preparing the packed bags for distribution. This is an active, hands-on shift that may involve standing for longer periods and some light lifting.
Your time directly supports families by making sure our pantry is well-stocked and ready for distribution. Thank you for helping us care for our community!
