Richmond Tree Stewards

Our phenomenal trees group recently discovered a valuable old Eastern Cottonwood in Riverview Cemetery that's being threatened by English ivy and some small invasive trees at its base. We're on a mission to free the tree so it can provide shade and sanctum for decades to come. A caution: poison ivy is intertwined with the English ivy, so this isn't a job for those who are allergic. That said, we will provide Tyvek suits, ivy barrier cream and a set-up for removing poison ivy oils from tools and skin.
