Richmond Tree Stewards

Join the City of Richmond's Parks & Rec for some community tree care! We will be planting some young trees, as well as performing some general landscaping and trash pick-up in Battery Park, located in the Northside. Not only will these trees help beautify the area and create habitat for birds and other local wildlife, but once reaching maturity, they will create shade and cool down temperatures in an area frequented by park visitors and playground users.

This is a Parks-led project, so you must sign up directly through CFengage, here: https://www.cfengage.org/opportunity/a0CNw0000BpZcZjMQK/community-tree-p... . CFEngage is the Community Foundation's platform that matches volunteers with local organizations that need help around the city. You must register and sign a waiver to volunteer. Once you are in the system, you can easily sign up for future events.
