Hop on the Bus! Stop by and visit with the Greening Bus Stops Alliance, as they demonstrate how to make bus stops cooler and more welcoming to riders – by planting trees! Come watch the trees get planted, and learn about the importance of trees in urban areas and how public transit is a key way we can become a more sustainable and climate resilient city. No registration necessary, plantings will start at bus stop #3667 at the corner of Fairfield Ave & Kane St, and then continue down Phaup St towards bus stop #3592, by the corner of Phaup St & N 21st St.

The Greening Bus Stops Alliance is made up of RVA Rapid Transit, Cool The City Coalition members, GRTC, and OTEM.
