Green Infrastructure: A Solution to Pollution

Wednesday, May 07 2025

Green infrastructure intercepts and filters stormwater runoff, improves local air quality, reduces the urban heat island effect, and provides habitat for wildlife. Join Justin Doyle and Katy Riley of the James River Association on Wednesday, May 7, at 6:00 PM to explore the roles green infrastructure plays in stormwater management and community resilience. Participants will learn about green infrastructure installed at the James A. Buzzard River Education Center and receive guidance on how to implement green infrastructure practices at home and in their communities.

Participants have the option to attend this event in-person at the James A. Buzzard River Education Center (2825 Dock Street, Richmond, Virginia) or participate virtually via Zoom.
