These tasks can be completed at your convenience any time during the week for which you sign up. See each task description for details.
Once this week, at any time, deep clean the bathrooms.
For each bathroom (5):
- Scrub toilet and sink
- Clean mirror
- Sweep/vacuum floor and mop
- Empty trash
- Ensure supplies are stocked (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, feminine hygiene products)
There is a caddy in the warm room janitor closet by the bathrooms filled with cleaning supplies that can be carried to the bathrooms.
There is a basket by the stocking supplies for carrying stocking supplies to the bathrooms.
Once this week, at any time while the ice is not in use, vacuum the carpet in the ice room and ice hallway.
Use a corded vacuum and give the carpets in the ice room and ice hallway a good vacuuming. There should be a corded vacuum near the pebbling station, in the glycol room (in the ice side entry), or in the ice side janitor closet. Extension cords are located behind the curtains in the warm room.
Empty and clean the vacuum.
Once this week, at any time while the warm room is not in use, mop the floor.
It is recommended to sign up with a friend but not required.
While the warm room is not in use, stack chairs, move tables, vacuum and mop the floor.
Please use a plug-in vacuum for thorough cleaning and a two-bucket (clean water, dirty water) method for mopping.
