Criminal Record Checks:
Only needed when volunteering in the classroom, helping on campus unsupervised, on field trips or if working with students on campus one-on-one or in groups. Record checks are good for 5 years and can be completed here: https://justice.gov.bc.ca/criminalrecordcheck

Drivers:
Volunteer drivers using their personal vehicle to transport students, staff, or other volunteers to and from an NCS off-site activity are required to submit, to the Office:
~ current BC drivers license
~ liability insurance coverage (at a minimum of $2,000,000)
~ driver’s insurance
~ criminal Record Check done by the ministry (valid for 5 years)
