Will take direction from the hostessing coordinators and help prepare food for the coaches and judges meals. Responsible for cleaning dishes and cleaning the coaches/judges room.
Responsible for checking athletes and coaches in and handing out gifts. Will tidy up the warmup gym when not busy. Will assist the warm-up gym coordinator with other tasks.
Responsible for collecting admission fees and handing out wristbands. May also be asked to help with various tasks when not busy.
Responsible for various tasks as needed through the time slot. Responsible for picking up food items and other items from stores if needed (requires use of your own vehicle)
Responsible for security at the front entrance to the competition gym. Ensuring spectators don't go on the competition carpet (or cross the floor to enter the warmup gym). Ensuring spectators don't enter the gym stands while a gymnast is performing and ensuring spectators don't bring food into the gym.
Responsible for announcing names on the microphone and playing music for routines (you will be taught to do this and will have a coordinator helping you, giving you breaks, etc.). Someone with a loud, confident speaking voice is recommended.
No experience is required, but you must be a high school student or adult. You must wear a plain white or black shirt or BGC spiritwear. Please come 15 minutes early before the start of your shift to be trained.
