Nativity Catholic Church

Religious Education hamburger food stand at the Nativity School Festival, September 21, 2024 from 9am-7pm. We will need to cover 3 shifts, 9am-1pm, 12-4pm, 3pm-7pm. Carlos Cazares has volunteered to supervise our booth. The fiesta coordinator, Vanessa Sandoval (vt31sandoval@gmail.com) said we should plan on selling about 150 burgers. Burgers will be the smash slider style on a Hawaiian roll with cheese, barbeque sauce and pickles for $5/slider.

Heat griddle to 375 degrees F.
Place the hamburger slider on a hot griddle.
Cover with a piece of parchment paper and press down with press
Get the patty as thin as you can.
Sprinkle with seasoning. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Flip with spatula making sure to scrape up the crusty skin that has formed on the underneath side.
Cover with a slice of cheese.
Cook for 1-2 more minutes.
Place on toasted roll with desired condiments.
